Description
Come and discover the art exhibition at the Hauts de Chosal accommodation exhibition space.
As usual, the winter season was rich in artistic activities for the volunteer residents of La Ferme de Chosal. These workshops are designed to encourage listening, self-fulfillment, discovery and the development of individual skills, as well as personal and professional development and cultural openness.
This exhibition is the result of the research, experimentation and creative work carried out between November and March by participants in the various workshops offered, under the guidance of multidisciplinary artists.
The visual arts workshops were led by Elodie Tribut, with the theme of the nest: observations, reflections, exchanges and constructions, and by Lydie Pollet-Villard with an eco-artistic work using recycled chairs (including those from the Farm) as the main raw material. The workshop led by volunteers Lynda, Martine and Maryse, combining embroidery, sewing, mosaics, weaving and the creation of a small interior for children on the Chosal Farm site, was also based on recycled materials.
Myriam Deweirdt accompanied the body art workshop, which is presented here in photographic form. Residents were encouraged to explore their bodily feelings in relation to themselves, to space and then to others. Expressions, sensations, interactions and the construction of choreographed moments between inside and outside.
Cat Castellan, music teacher, accompanied the vocal work, writing texts (rapped and slammed) and designing musical instruments using chairs as raw material.
The human encounters, the bridges between the workshops and the links forged over the months were also material for creation.
