Atelier Linhestia opens its doors to you for an exhibition and sale of 20th-century furniture, lighting and vintage objects. A selection of designer pieces, handcrafted creations and vintage treasures, witness to the style and times of yesteryear.
Trained as an upholsterer and passionate about furniture, I started hunting for pieces to decorate my home. As I went from discovery to discovery, I quickly felt the need to share my finds and my furniture culture with others.
All this was made possible by acquiring a workshop space in Sciez that I open to the public one weekend a month.
I offer for sale furniture and lighting fixtures that have left their mark on the twentieth century, from signed designer pieces to unidentified objects whose characteristics and lines bear witness to their era.
As an upholsterer, I can easily restore the furniture I present at the openings.
When you come to see me, you'll find furniture such as chairs, armchairs, sofas, pouffes, lamps, hanging lamps, floor lamps, tables, desks, storage units, shelves, chests of drawers, enfilades and much more that may have caught my eye.
Since it's easy to get bored on your own, I like to invite other people to my openings, such as artists, designers, craftspeople and other second-hand dealers. Every opening is different, and you have to follow the program every month.
