Tour of the “Ressources Sensibles” exhibition with a member of the Villa du Parc team.

Conceived by the biennial’s curator, Bernard Vienat, the exhibition at the Villa du Parc brings together works by 11 international artists centered on the theme of geological resources. For now, while the works combine visual effects, myths, and poetic expressions, they make no attempt whatsoever to sugarcoat reality. Without resorting to doomsday scenarios or moralizing, they open up avenues for critical reflection on our history and our extraction practices. Perceiving these dimensions—subterranean, off-screen, infinitely large or small—is a sensitive exercise to which these works of art invite us.
