Description

The Cercier Apple Festival celebrates the harvest and local expertise. Apple juice pressed on-site by parents and children, activities, games, a raffle, a duck pond, a bouncy castle, and a fun atmosphere for the whole family.
Organized by the Cercier Parents’ Association, the Apple Festival is a family-friendly event that celebrates apples and local traditions. The weekend before the festival, the schoolchildren help pick the apples generously donated by the town’s apple growers. Early in the morning on the day of the festival, parent volunteers and local residents gather around the apple press to wash, grind, press, and bottle the apple juice that will be sold throughout the day. Young and old alike are invited to learn about and participate in every step of this artisanal process. Throughout the day, visitors can also enjoy a traditional blood sausage and apple meal, a pastry sale, and plenty of activities for children: a bounce house, duck fishing, a snail race, a children’s raffle, an adults’ raffle, and other festive activities. A wonderful day of sharing, delicious food, and good cheer in the heart of the village.
