I rilievi della valle del Rodano e l'altopiano della Vuache sono la porta naturale verso Ginevra e il Museo Internazionale della Riforma. Lungo il percorso, potrete scoprire una serie di siti naturali, patrimoniali e culturali.
Il percorso segue i sentieri segnalati del Pays du Vuache: il "Tour du Vuache" da Chaumont a Cortagny (Savigny), l'anello del "Sentier des Morennes" fino a Bloux (Dingy-en-Vuache) e il percorso a ovest di Valleiry attraverso la Vosognette, la Colombière e il Bois de Vosogne fino al confine.
Il percorso inizia da Le Poet Laval presso il Musée du Protestantisme Dauphinois nella Drôme. La parte francese del sentiero "Sulle orme degli Ugonotti" fino al confine svizzero di Chancy è lunga circa 360 km ed è suddivisa in 29 tappe.

In 1815, Geneva was a member of the Swiss Confederation and was surrounded by the kingdoms of Piedmont-Sardinia and France. In 1860, Savoie was annexed to France.<br/>Along the border, we can still discover the border marker no. 1 which marks the western-most point of Switzerland . Lavishly carved and dating from 1816, it faces the eagle with outspread wings of the kingdom of Sardinia, on the Genevois coat of arms. It is a milestone on the old path leading from Chancy to Vuache, highly frequented in the 17th and 18th centuries and now fallen into disuse. A bit further on, 3 wooden staircases allow the coastal path to cross the 3 successive levels of submerging into the Rhône (terraces) carved in the fluvio-glacial alluviums.
