Circuit découverte : La vallée verte et du Risse

Arroccata su un crinale tra la terra e il cielo, questa cappella gotica ha tutto ciò che serve per essere il luogo perfetto per la contemplazione.<br/>La Chapelle de Notre Dame des Voirons è stata costruita nel XV secolo e si affaccia su una roccia che sale ancora più in alto, da cui sgorga una piccola sorgente. Ci sono tutti gli elementi per fare di questa cappella gotica un luogo di contemplazione.
A dieci minuti di cammino dal monastero, l'antica cappella di Notre-Dame des Voirons, il cui interno è stato recentemente restaurato, è raggiungibile attraverso un sentiero nel bosco. Questa cappella merita da sola una visita. Non per la sua decorazione, che è di una sobrietà rustica esemplare; non per la sua frequentazione, perché i visitatori sono rari; ma perché, a differenza di molti altri edifici ecclesiastici, questa cappella ha un'anima.
Disadorna e non dipinta, ornata semplicemente da una statua della Madonna (la Vergine nera, ovviamente), da un altare in pietra quasi grezza e da arredi essenziali, questa semplice cappella gotica rettangolare in pietra, lunga una quindicina di metri, offre uno spazio di serenità a chi cerca silenzio e pace interiore.

The château dates back to the 15th century. The Marquis de Lullin built the Gothic castle which has retained its style despite construction work up to the 17th century.<br/>In December 1943, the château saw a tragic event. A group of young people organised a ball for Christmas Eve. The Germans received information of this and, believing them to be members of the Resistance, attacked the church. The château was set on fire and all the men were shot. Only the women were spared. Now, all that's left are a few walls and a monument in memory of the young men.

The Lac de la Crossetaz is a charming spot for a picnic, fishing or just rest and relaxation in the great outdoors. The footpath is behind the church in Habère-Lullin. It's a ten minute slightly downhill walk.<br/>Composting toilets on the footpath.
