The campsite lies at the foot of Mount Salève and has pitches for motor homes, tents and rented on-site vans. Located to the south of Geneva, we also rent fully-equipped luxury chalets with one or two bedrooms and lounge. Wifi available on the campsite.

Open from 22 April to 31 October 2026, the campsite welcomes you from spring to autumn – the perfect time to enjoy sunny days, summer holidays and early or late-season getaways. Whether you’re travelling in a tent, caravan or motorhome, or prefer the comfort of holiday accommodation, you’ll find an option to suit your pace and preferences.
La Colombière offers a range of accommodation options. The camping pitches make it easy to set up camp, with facilities tailored to your needs during your stay. The fully equipped chalets and mobile homes offer a comfortable alternative for a night, a weekend or a week. They’re ideal for families, couples, passing pilgrims or holidaymakers who want to explore Neydens, Geneva, Annecy and the surrounding area without any hassle.
A campsite designed with families in mind! For family holidays, the campsite has all the essentials: a swimming pool, children’s play area, games room, entertainment, a restaurant and comfortable facilities. Children quickly settle in, whilst parents enjoy a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. With an indoor swimming pool, outdoor pools, a paddling pool and leisure areas, you can vary your activities depending on the weather and what takes your fancy. As the seasons change, you can easily adapt your daily routine: a dip in the pool when the sun comes out, a quiet break at the start or end of the season, or a trip into the countryside as soon as you feel like getting out and about. Here, everyone goes at their own pace. You can relax, play, share a meal and take your time.

La Colombière Campsite is a lovely place to stay whilst exploring Haute-Savoie without straying too far from the main roads. Ideally situated between Geneva and Annecy, the campsite is a prime base for exploring the region. Less than 15 km from Geneva and around 35 km from Annecy, it allows you to easily alternate between city breaks, outdoor activities, family outings and trips to the Salève. Its location also makes it a convenient and pleasant stopover on your way to your holiday destination. Vitam is less than 1 km away, and the Way of St James (GR65) passes right by the campsite entrance. The proximity to the Alps and Savoie also offers plenty of ideas for day trips. You can stay for one night, extend your stay to a weekend, or plan a full week exploring Neydens and the Monts du Genevois.

The campsite is situated on the Way of St James, making it a convenient stopover for walkers and pilgrims. A car park is available for those wishing to set off from Geneva. This location gives the site a special character: people come here to stop off, recharge their batteries, prepare for the rest of their journey or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings at the foot of the Salève. It’s a great spot for those who love to travel slowly, at the pace of the landscape.

From Neydens, you’re close to Mont Salève, hiking trails and panoramic views of the Genevois region. La Colombière is situated at the foot of Mont Salève and a stone’s throw from Geneva, offering easy access to both nature walks and city sightseeing. The campsite thus becomes more than just a place to stay: it’s a starting point for a change of scenery. On one side, Geneva and its vibrant energy. On the other, the hills, the trails and the sweeping views of the mountains. This diversity adds variety to your stay. You can alternate between sightseeing, swimming, relaxing, children’s activities and more contemplative moments. La Colombière holds the ‘Accueil Vélo’ accreditation. This accreditation is a real point of reference for cyclists looking for accommodation tailored to their needs. The campsite provides a bike shed, a space to dry clothes, repair kit and useful information to help you plan your routes. For a cycling stopover in Haute-Savoie, this level of care makes all the difference. You can store your kit, recover after your ride and set off again with greater peace of mind towards Geneva, Annecy or the roads of Savoie Mont-Blanc.
Equipment, repairs and practical information.
Cyclists can make use of a bike repair kit, maps and guidebooks provided by Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc Tourisme, amongst others. The campsite can also provide travellers with information and refer them to an external service provider if repairs or breakdown assistance are required. Taxi services are available for shuttle journeys or luggage transfers. These services make your stopover more comfortable, particularly for touring holidays. You can focus on what matters most: getting on with your journey, exploring and enjoying the area without unnecessary stress.

- Catering: specific dishes and opening times (available at all hours for some): currently takeaway meals at lunchtime 7 days a week, and normally open every day for lunch and dinner (except Monday evenings), serving traditional cuisine.
- Cycling advisor on site: no dedicated ‘advisor’, but we can provide information and have an external contractor who can carry out repairs and offer breakdown assistance.
- Maps and guidebooks available: yes, those provided by Savoie Mont-Blanc Tourisme.

Situated at the foot of the Salève, the campsite enjoys a prime location for exploring the must-see attractions of the Monts du Genevois, as well as the cities of Geneva and Annecy. Its location allows you to enjoy both an unspoilt natural environment and proximity to numerous tourist attractions, outdoor activities and amenities.
Easily accessible, the campsite is just a few minutes from the A40 motorway, with exits 13 and 13.1 situated approximately 3 km away. This is a real advantage for reaching your holiday destination quickly, whether you’re travelling by car, campervan or stopping off on your way to your holiday destination.
From the campsite, Geneva is less than 15 km away and Annecy around 30 km, whilst the Salève trails and the landscapes of the Monts du Genevois are right on your doorstep as soon as you leave the campsite. An ideal location for combining exploration, outdoor activities and city breaks.
Quick access to Geneva, Saint-Julien and Annecy:
From the campsite, you’ll enjoy quick access by public transport to several points of interest. The ‘Neydens, Les Mouilles’ bus stop is around 950 m away and connects to the Transalis LT72 route between Geneva and Annecy. This is a handy way to minimise car journeys and explore the surrounding area more easily. The town centre of Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, Geneva, Vitam and the roads to Annecy are all easily accessible. You can stay connected whilst enjoying a quieter setting at the foot of the Salève.
