At the Grandes Médiévales d’Andilly, the Middle Ages come alive, vibrant and almost magical.

A medieval market and passionate craftspeople

Between two shows, take the time to explore the medieval market. At the Grandes Médiévales d’Andilly, craftsmen, blacksmiths, designers and enthusiasts come together to show you their traditional skills. Blacksmiths, glass-blowers, woodcarvers, knife-makers – these stalls are ideal for souvenirs or gifts. Chain mail, objets d’art, costumes, medieval clothing, demonstrations of period crafts – it’s a truly immersive experience.

For gourmets, there are numerous taverns serving generous medieval cuisine. Take your pick from meats and charcuterie, potato fritters, cheese sandwiches and sweet treats, and eat as you would in the days of the knights.
