A concert presented by the city to mark the end of the cultural season and the unveiling of the 2027/2028 season!

The Harmonie Gospel concert takes us on a journey, at times into the spiritual and socially conscious world of gospel, and at other times into the wilder, more sensual world of soul, offering a glimpse of the deep connections between these two musical genres—both rooted in the same visceral need for expression felt by the generations who sang them. Their renditions of classic standards are sure to strike a joyful or nostalgic chord in the hearts of listeners! These are accompanied by lesser-known songs that lift the soul with their rich harmonies. In the beautiful medieval town of La Roche-sur-Foron, the “Parenthèse” music school has been passionately led by Stella Scrivo since 2014. In addition to its many music and singing classes, the school launched a gospel workshop in 2019. Renamed Harmonie Gospel in 2022, the choir currently has more than sixty passionate singers.
