Description
This natural area located on the banks of the river Arve is made up of 3 stretches of water. It is classified as a biotope and provides a habitat for several species of protected animals and plants on both a regional and national level, such as beavers, little grebes, common reed buntings and reed warblers.
The site is easily accessible from nearby residential areas, and signage is provided on the access parking lots to guide visitors on their arrival.
Here, the beavers are the real architects of the area... and they never ask for permits!
Marked trails, Natura 2000 signs and convenient parking lots... everything's ready for you to enjoy nature without getting in over your head!
You can join the signposted path along the Arve (Chemin de l'Arve, PDIPR).
You can also walk along the Swiss side of the river.
