In an unspoiled and protected space at 1450m of altitude, at the very heart of the Haute Savoie, you will discover the Plateau des Glieres.
An historic and symbolic place ( World War II) about Resistance but also a land of outdoors activities in summer and winter.<br/>The Plateau des Glieres is a must see in Haute Savoie : it have a symbolic history because of the Resistance, and this is a place of memory. Cultural tours are available throughout the year.
During winter, the Plateau des Glieres is the nordic site of Haute Savoie with 29 kilometers of cross country sky trail for all level as well as 17 kilometers of walking and snowshoeing trails. The perfect place to relax, enjoy snow and contemplate.
During summer, the Plateau des Glieres provides 8 hiking trails for all levels where you will appreciate a wide open and natural prairie and meet local people. If you want you will have the opportunity to buy local food (cheese) directly at the farm.
You want to discover a traditional meal ? Try the Batter-fried potatoes! You will find them in the different restaurant on the Plateau. There are also beds and breakfast and mountain shelters to welcome you.

From this picnic area, have the best look upon La Clusaz!<br/>Letters over 2 metres high overlooking a fabulous wide view of the village, on the Family Run track. The best place for taking a nice picture with your family or friends!
5Flumet / St Nicolas la Chapelle
Flumet and St Nicolas la Chapelle, at the very centre of the Val d’Arly and at the crossroads between Savoie and Haute-Savoie, bring together a land of shared heritage. The medieval character of their main village centre is still evident, and their sacred history will transport you back in time.<br/>Located in the Alps, Flumet and St Nicolas la Chapelle lie at the heart of the Upper Val d’Arly Mont-Blanc.
They are a true village-resort where authenticity, respect for nature and a wide range of sports facilities blend harmoniously.
In summer, Flumet / St Nicolas la Chapelle is a major tourist crossroads on the Route des Grandes Alpes and a centre for walks and excursions.
On foot or by mountain bike, gentle family outings or panoramic routes facing Mont Blanc: everyone finds their own pace to explore unspoilt landscapes of forests, flower-filled alpine pastures and mountain lakes.
Its lake is ideal for swimming and games, making it the must-visit spot on sunny days.
In winter, it’s the gentle version of the Alps: accessible skiing, snowshoe walks, sledging, Savoyard specialities and an authentic village under the friendly gaze of Mont Blanc.
It is also a gateway to the Espace Diamant ski area, easily accessible and offering varied slopes, ideal for families, beginners or leisure skiers.
But Flumet is not limited to alpine skiing: snowshoe trails and winter hikes lead through pristine landscapes, from snowy forests to magnificent Mont Blanc panoramas.

6Flumet lake
The lake, situated between Albertville and Mégève, is ideal for swimming and relaxation and makes up part of the Arrondine leisure centre with its various sporting facilities and children’s play equipment. Set in a leafy corner of the area.<br/>Supervised swimming in July and August.
ATTENTION: vacation centers, groups or other groups may access the lake only in the morning until 12:00 noon or after 6:00 p.m. under the condition that they have their own means of surveillance and rescue, and under their own responsibility.

In the land of Mont-Blanc, between the Aravis and Saisies passes and on the Route des Grandes Alpes, the office of the Val d'Arly Tourist Office in Flumet welcomes you all year round! Do not hesitate to visit us during your stay.<br/>Our reception service offers the following services:

Megeve has retained all the charm of a blooming and authentic Savoyard village, nestling around its medieval style main square, old quarters, narrow streets and welcoming little squares livened up with fountains and wash houses.

Megève Tourisme welcomes you to the heart of the village, in a pedestrianised area all year round.
Underground car park less than 200 metres away (free for the first 30 minutes). Bike rack. In high season, Meg-Bus stop nearby.<br/>To help you plan your stay, our reception staff can provide information on activities, entertainment, transport and accommodation in French, English and Italian, depending on who is on duty.
We can provide tickets for shows, conferences and fishing permits.

A family-friendly lounge is available, as well as a disabled toilet located on the upper floor of the establishment, accessible by lift.
