Der Vortrag von Prof. Riccardo E. Pfister wird die Gesundheit von Neugeborenen – und unsere Zukunft – nachhaltig verändern.
Every year, millions of newborns around the world lack access to care that is both simple and essential. Hundreds of thousands of lives could be saved through basic interventions: maintaining the baby’s body temperature and helping the baby breathe at birth. Beyond technical care, placing parents and family at the center of support profoundly changes the children’s future.
With 40 years of experience in neonatology, in both wealthy countries and resource-limited settings, the conclusion is clear: it is simple, accessible, and compassionate interventions that make the greatest difference. By making them available everywhere, we can bring about lasting change in the health of newborns—and our future.
