Espace Liberté ski area

In the Super-Châtel sector, ideal for beginners with its many green and blue runs, you'll also find a snowpark, a DVA park and a speed run. This sector is directly linked to the Swiss resorts of Morgins (via the Chalet Neuf lift) and Torgon (via the Tour de Don lift). From Torgon, you can then reach the La Chapelle d'Abondance ski area. It can be reached either by the Super-Châtel gondola lift in the village center, or by the Barbossine chairlift at Petit-Châtel or the Portes du Soleil chairlift at Vonnes. The Linga / Pré la Joux / Plaine Dranse sector will delight intermediate and advanced skiers with its many long red and black runs. This sector is directly linked to the Avoriaz ski area from the top of the Rochassons chairlift via the red "Chaux Fleurie" run or the blue "Grand Plan" run. At the foot of this area, at Pré la Joux, a conveyor belt, two ski lifts and the Pierre Longue chairlift serve green runs ideal for learning to ski. And don't forget the playful La Belette slope, a delight for children. This area is accessible via the Linga chairlift, the Pré la Joux and Pierre Longue chairlifts at Pré la joux, or the Gabelou chairlift at Vonnes. The Torgon ski area has some very fine slopes, quite steep on the whole, with a breathtaking view of the Swiss Alps. It's a haven of peace in the north, where you can glide quickly and enjoy a timeless interlude in a friendly atmosphere. The ski area of La Chapelle d'Abondance, tranquil par excellence, with its beautiful slopes and uneven terrain, is a little less frequented overall. Whether on the sunny south-facing slopes or the colder north-facing slopes, you can ski in total peace and quiet, enjoying magnificent panoramic views. Châtel is at the heart of the Franco-Swiss Portes du Soleil ski area. This area is one of the largest in Europe, with 12 linked resorts: 8 French and 4 Swiss.
