Description
Located at the top of Monthoux hill, dominating the town, this park, which is a former property of the bishopric, is a place for rest and relaxation. A restored chapel, which is a reminder of its episcopal past, dominates the park and its paths.
Perched at the top of the hill, at an altitude of 571 meters, this park extends over a carefully landscaped area of more than 2 hectares, comprising several paths discreetly lit at night by illuminated bollards harmoniously integrated into the landscape.
One of the park's major features is its pond, the real centerpiece of this corner of greenery. Carefully integrated into the landscape, it is populated by water lilies and fish, creating a small aquatic universe. Two pontoons allow visitors to admire this space from the water, offering a soothing immersion in nature. Its water supply is permanently assured by a reservoir that collects and recycles rainwater, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable development.
As for practicality, a 30-space parking area has been set up opposite the park, facilitating access for families and visitors.
