Description
Blandine is kind of like the friend you'd love to have in your group…
As a new mom, she embraces the image of the imperfect woman. What she champions on stage is life—the real thing, unfiltered and unedited. Watching Blandine on stage is like being in your friend’s living room—the kind of friend who, admittedly, hogs the spotlight a bit, but with whom you have the best evenings (needless to say, I wrote this pitch).
She takes a look back at her relationship and the struggles of new parents, talks about ugly kids, learning to let go of her old life, the criminal impulses one might feel toward moralizers—or even one’s own partner—her relationship with food, and her double chin…
In short, Blandine delivers an uninhibited show, packed with self-deprecating humor, a touch of cynicism, and sharp one-liners.
