Discover the Mont-Blanc massif (4807 m) on both sides, at the crossroads of France, Italy and Switzerland.

France
Depart Annemasse for Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, via A40 freeway or R.N. 205.
Chamonix Mont-Blanc (82 km): Exceptional mountain site - World capital of mountaineering - Aiguille du Midi (3842 m) and Brévent (2526 m) cable cars - "Les Grands Montets" high-mountain site (3275 m).
Mont-Blanc Tunnel: 11.6 km tunnel.

Italy :
Entreves :Arrival in Italy - Val d'Aoste.
Courmayeur (108 km): Renowned high-mountain resort at the foot of the east face of Mont-Blanc.
Aosta (140 km): Through the Dora Baltea valley. Capital of the Autonomous Province of Valle d'Aosta - a town with a rich historical past, particularly from Roman times.

Switzerland :
(This itinerary does not include a freeway. Please note: in Switzerland, you must purchase a vignette in advance if you wish to use the freeway).

Col du Grand Saint-Bernard (170 km): Access to Switzerland (Valais) Hospice run by the Canons of Saint-Bernard for 9 centuries (half-hour visit) - Kennels with the breed's famous dogs. Visits from early June to late September - Access in summer only by road, otherwise year-round tunnel crossing of the pass with no direct access to the Hospice.
Bourg-Saint-Pierre (185 km): Characteristic Valais mountain village.
Orsieres (197 km).
Martigny (215 km): City built on a historic Roman site in the Rhone Valley, surrounded by mountains and famous vineyards - Fondation Giannada, Roman museum, art exhibition, remarkable collection of vintage cars.
Saint-Maurice (230 km): town at the foot of the Dents du Midi, with an Abbey founded in 1515 by the Burgundian King Sigismund. Rich treasure (visit).
Saint-Gingolph (260 km) Border town straddling Switzerland and France on the shores of Lake Geneva.

France:
Evian-les-Bains (278 km): A very old town with a tourist and spa vocation - Ville Fleurie (4 flowers) - Lakeside promenade - Source Cachat Water sports center - Casino.
Thonon-les-Bains (287 km): pleasant, lively town, capital of the Chablais region - lakeside promenade - Maison des Arts et Loisirs - Espace "Rénovation" - spa park - marina - Château de Ripaille, former residence of the Counts of Savoy - Musée des Pêcheurs - Ville Fleurie (4 flowers).

Return to Annemasse (total approx. 320 km).

The office has a warm and spacious reception area where visitors will find brochures, information panels and a children's area.<br/>Our reception service offers you the following services:

3Aiguille du midi cable car

Discover the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix's iconic attraction for over 60 years. In just 20 minutes, the cable car takes you from the town center to the gates of the Haute Montagne, at an altitude of 3842 meters.<br/>Up there, a 360° panorama of the French, Swiss and Italian Alps awaits you, with a breathtaking view of Mont Blanc from the summit terrace.
For the more adventurous, take on "Le Pas dans le Vide", a glass box suspended above a 1000-metre drop. Also explore "Le Tube", a steel gallery at 3700m, and "Espace Vertical", the world's highest museum dedicated to mountaineering.
For the full experience, fly over the Glacier du Géant to Italy on the Panoramic Mont-Blanc gondola (summer only, extra charge).

Dining options, including the "3842m" restaurant, are available at the summit. Halfway up, you can stop off at Plan de l'Aiguille (2310m), a starting point for summer hikes.

- Bring warm clothing, sunglasses and sun cream.
- Children under 3 years of age are not allowed to visit, and children under 5 are not recommended.
- The total visit lasts an average of 2 to 3 hours (including travel time). Depending on the number of visitors, this time may be doubled.
- Times and frequency of departures vary according to the time of year and the number of visitors: please consult the table and notes corresponding to the date of your visit.

The first immersive 4D cinema dedicated to the mountains, located in the departure station of the Aiguille du Midi cable car.

4Brévent cable car

From Chamonix: first a gondola to Planpraz at 2000m, then a cable car to Le Brévent at 2525m. Here you'll enjoy 360° panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc chain.<br/>In summer, Planpraz is the starting point for many wonderful escapades, including Lac Cornu and the Grand Balcon Sud. It also offers an excellent launch area for paragliders.

From the Brévent summit, a path leads in summer to the Aiguillette des Houches via the Bel-Lachat refuge.

The Brévent slabs, facing Mont Blanc, form a pleasant, quiet climbing site just a 5-minute walk from the top of the cable car, .

In summer, as in winter, take advantage of the beautiful sunny terraces for a moment of tranquillity and contemplation!

Eating out: in Planpraz, "La Bergerie" offers traditional cuisine and fast food. In Le Brévent, the restaurant "Le Panoramique" welcomes you on its terrace with a breathtaking view!

5Fondation Pierre Gianadda

Since 1979, the Pierre Gianadda Foundation has organised several temporary exhibitions each year.<br/>Over the years, it has gained an international reputation for the quality of its exhibitions, the choice of themes and all the major events associated with them.

6The Abbey of Saint-Maurice d’Agaune

The visitor trail is based on light and imagery, the symbols of knowledge and faith.<br/>It tells an extraordinary story: that of a miraculously preserved, living religious community that bears sole witness to a spiritual and cultural activity that is not found anywhere else in the western Christian world. The visit starts from the current basilica which dates back to the 17th Century and was restored and enlarged in the mid-20th Century. After the archaeological site, the visit continues with the catacombs and then the abbey treasure.

7Saint-Gingolph Beach (France)

With its superb views of Switzerland and the Vaud Alps, this beach is located at the entrance to the village.<br/>It includes a swimming area (supervised from July 1st to August 31st, 1pm to 7pm), a diving board, a raft, a book box and play areas for children (5 years and over). The Plage bar-restaurant offers a varied menu, largely based on local produce.

8Evian Tourist Office

The Evian Tourist Office has a spacious and informative reception desk. Numerous leaflets are available, a shop offers products from the office as well as Evian mineral water, and a children's area has been set up.<br/>On sale :

The reservation center is in charge of fitness stays with the Evian thermal baths, as well as group stays. The Convention Department organizes seminars and meetings by marketing the Palais Lumière and the Palais des Festivités.
Two TV screens broadcast information on the city's entertainment and events. Free wifi access.
An EVAD office provides information on buses from the Pays d'Evian and Vallée d'Abondance community of communes.
