The Butor Archipelago invites you to a day of discovery centred on the writer Michel Butor and artists’ books.
After a morning of tours, the whole group will be invited to contribute to the creation of a collaborative artist’s book. This workshop is an excellent way to (re)build relationships, get to know your colleagues in a new light, and also to highlight your company’s values.

Located in Lucinges, the Archipel Butor is a cultural centre dedicated to artists’ books, poetry and the work of the poet and writer Michel Butor.
Your visit begins in the heart of the Manoir des livres with a tour of the current exhibition, followed by a visit to the writer’s study, situated just a few metres away.
The rest of the day takes place in our workshop space, where you’ll be invited to create a collaborative artist’s book combining writing and visual art (collages, drawings, cut-outs, etc.).
Programme for the day:
10.30 am – 12 noon: guided tour of the current exhibition at the Manoir des livres and Michel Butor’s study;
1.30 pm – 4.30 pm: workshop to create a collaborative artist’s book.
For the lunch break, you are welcome to organise a picnic or potluck lunch in the municipal park adjacent to the Manoir des livres (we can move indoors in the event of bad weather).
Start or end your day with a discussion session or internal meeting in the workshop room, which can be hired privately for an additional fee during the following slots: 9.00 am–10.30 am / 4.30 pm–6.00 pm.
