This activity is a cross between hiking and mountaineering. 700 m long, the via ferrata "Yves Pollet-Villard" is equipped with ladders, footbridges, ramps and cables. Situated in the Borderan Mountain, the via ferrata is near the Aravis Pass road.
The 700 m via ferrata "Yves Pollet-Villard" is carved directly into the flanks of the Borderan cliff, offering a spectacular route perched between 1500 and 1800 m above sea level. The walls are equipped with rungs, footbridges, ramps and cables, making them more accessible. Located in the Combe de Borderan, the via ferrata overlooks the Col des Aravis road.
In accordance with municipal by-law no. 07/079, dated May 3, 2007, the via ferrata route is forbidden from November 15 to May 5 and, outside this period, if the inspection has not been carried out and if excessive snow cover makes the return journey dangerous.
