Another theater evening in Cranves-Sales! Messery's Troupe du TAM presents "Chekhov's Comedies": an immersive show!

Cranves-Sales Culture Department offers a new theater evening! After the annual success of the February evening, the Cranves-Sales Town Council's Culture Committee has decided to offer a new show for theater lovers and the curious. This time, the Troupe de Théâtre de Messery (TAM) will take to the stage with their show Les comédies de Tchékhov, an original play based on texts by Anton Tchékhov (Tranche d'une vie d'estivant, L'Ours, La Demande en mariage, Sur la grand-route and La Nuit avant le procès) and directed by Timothée Moynat. The program features a slightly different formula... Audiences will be treated to a lively and inclusive show, with the actors performing on stage as well as in the auditorium, welcoming the audience as if in an inn. For the occasion, a refreshment bar and light refreshments (charcuterie and cheese platters) will be available. Pitch of the play: "Come and settle into the TAM inn for an evening and a few drinks. You won't be alone, and you'll have the chance to follow the stories of other pilgrims who, like you, have found refuge there. Truands, souls in pain, exhausted vacationers, faithful Christians, desperate debtors, everyone's paths intertwine to offer you an evening full of twists and turns between love-hate, fear and comedy in a retro and (rather) warm atmosphere." TAM is a theater association founded in 2024 and existing since 2021. Its project: to offer a season of 4 shows, including a workshop led by Timothée Moynat (from Cie Les Enfants Sauvages) and made up of amateur actors with a passion for theater. Chekhov's Comedies is the show for the 2024-2025 season.
