The 700 m of the "Yves Pollet-Villard" via ferrata are carved directly into the flanks of the Borderan cliff, offering a spectacular route perched between 1,500 and 1,800 m above sea level.
ATTENTION: Via ferrata closed on September 20 and 21, 2025
Equipped with rungs, footbridges, ramps and cables, the Via Ferrata is now more accessible. Located in the Combe de Borderan, the via ferrata overlooks the Col des Aravis road.
In accordance with municipal by-law no. 07/079, dated May 3, 2007, the via ferrata route is prohibited from November 15 to May 5 and, outside this period, if the inspection has not been carried out and if excessive snow cover makes the return journey dangerous.
Accessibility: from May 13, inspection carried out and validated.
We advise you to contact the Tourist Office to confirm that the route is accessible.
In all cases, access to the via ferrata is forbidden by municipal by-law from November 15 to May 5. Outside this period, access is strongly discouraged if the snow cover is too heavy and/or the inspection has not been carried out.
