Point de départ: Pomier et de La Maison du Salève, 74160 Présilly
Take the old path once trod by the lay brothers from the monastery and discover a little-known corner of Salève, with its alpine pastures, chalet, Sauge footpath and the village of Saint Blaise. There's a splendid view of the Geneva area.

On the way, you can admire the magnificent Pomier Charterhouse. In terms of geology, you will see the limestone rocks of Balme. As you pass the chalet, you'll find some remarkable trees. You can also take a break in the village of St Blaise. From the cemetery, follow the sightseeing trail with its entertaining information boards describing the development of the village (1 hr maximum).

For 600 years, the Chartreuse de Pomier was a place of prayer and meditation. Over the last century, it has been transformed into a hotel-restaurant, welcoming many guests. The renovation of the Chartreuse de Pomier, at the start of the 21st century, has been designed to continue this vocation of reflection and welcome through the development of this historic site.

2Via Ferrata Jacques Revaclier

Scarp slopes with cables and ladders. An adrenalin rush without danger. Instruction from a high-altitude mountain guide. Via ferrata: Salève, Fort l'Ecluse. Level: easy to intermediate.<br/>Shooters are asked to be as discreet as possible from early February to late May due to the nesting of Peregrine Falcons, a protected species of which there are only a few pairs left in Haute-Savoie.
