The whole of the Salève is considered by climbers to be the Mecca of rock climbing, even if this highly sought-after site offers holds that have been weathered by many passages. A historic site in the history of climbing, since it was the cradle of "varappe", a term still used today. This site has the advantage of being very sunny, accessible and varied, offering "school" and "sport" sites.
