2La rotonde, l'étoile ferroviaire - Street art

The graphic choice was to retain the original architectural elements, i.e. the columns and doors: the fresco is adapted and articulated around them.<br/>The artist proposes a symbolic and allegorical approach to Annemasse's environment, strongly characterized by the "voie verte", a place dedicated to slow strolls and close contact with nature. The background of the fresco evokes a mountainous horizon, with architectural references (roofs) and references to walking, water in its various forms, the sky and the hilly landscapes surrounding Annemasse. Characters parade along this green path, which is more visible on the sides of the wall, leaving more room for the illustrative fresco.

LORAINE MOTTI
Loraine Motti tackles the recurring theme of landscape, interpreted in a dreamlike way and punctuated by offbeat color choices. In her compositions, the French artist sometimes integrates protagonists who add a narrative aspect to her works.

She draws her inspiration from primary or ancient representations in the arts, from Egyptian compositions to medieval tapestry and Mexican "alebrijes" figurines. Based on aerosol techniques, her fresco work rises to monumental heights, but is also available on a smaller scale.
