The site of this park is partly where the Grenat family estate once stood. The four Grenat brothers were arrested in 1944 and deported to Germany, from where they never returned.

The waterfall has been used to create a pond with a small bridge. This green space is open to the public and provides a pleasant place to relax in the main town.
