This site, located on the edge of town above the Casino, covers an area of over 5 ha, mostly on embankments, and includes a flower meadow, orchards, a wood and a wetland. It has been the subject of land acquisitions for some twenty years.
The first section of path was laid out in 1998.
The study of a pedestrian link by "Les Architectes du Paysage" to connect the banks of the Arve, carried out in 2013, was based on a biodiversity analysis by the ecology firm "Avis Vert". It guided the work carried out on this site in the spring of 2014 so as not to disturb the ecosystem.
The park has been awarded the "refuge LPO" and "Espace Naturel Sensible" labels.
