This lake is located in the crystalline massif of the Aiguilles Rouges, between Passy and Servoz. Accessible by foot only. Magnificent views of the Fiz mountain range. The lake and its island are nestled under the Pointe Noire de Pormenaz.

An impressive diversity of flora, including numerous rhododendrons in early summer.
