Nestled at an altitude of 1,200 metres, in the heart of a coniferous forest, Lac Vert is one of Haute-Savoie's natural gems. Bus access: line Y85, "Plaine-Joux" stop. Timetable on https://borini.com/region/
Access by car: follow the D43 towards "Plaine-Joux". Park in the parking lot of the same name. The lake can be reached on a fairly easy 30-minute walk.
There is a barrier between the Plaine-Joux parking lot and the Lac Vert parking lot.
In July and August, free shuttle buses run between the Plaine-Joux parking lot and Lac Vert. Outside this period, and for people with reduced mobility only, you can request the barrier code from the Passy tourist office on presentation of proof.

Until 10/07/2025: 10:00-18:00 Monday to Friday with 1h lunch break
From 12/07/2025: 10:00-18:00 daily
From 18/08/2025: 10:00-18:00 Monday to Friday with 1h lunch break
