Family activities at the Salève cable car

The aim of these activities is to encourage learning and discovery of the Salève, in a fun way that respects our mountain environment. Whether discovering the landscape or the history of the Salève, children will be able to develop their creative skills and imaginations, and create memories as a family.

Five activities are offered throughout the year:

- Chamois and company: Meet the Salève's inhabitants on an excursion along the trails near the cable car. This outing gives you the opportunity to see the tracks and signs of animals that inhabit the Salève. Who knows, maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a chamois from the gondola cabin?

- A tree as a friend: Explore the fascinating world of trees! Learn to recognize them, discover their growth, their benefits for our environment, and even their names! Are you ready to dive into the captivating world of trees? Are you interested?

- All roads lead to the Salève: How do human beings get around? Why do I move? What about flora and fauna? We'll try to answer these questions through a series of fun activities in nature, close to the cable car: seed hunts, team games... Take part in this original experience, explore the various ways of getting around our territory, while spending a pleasant moment with your family.

- The landscape from every angle: From the cable car terrace, children will be encouraged to explore and understand the landscape around them: they'll learn to find their bearings, describe and identify the different natural elements with fun games that will engage the whole family's senses!

- Construis ton Salève: an artistic experience for the whole family! The Maison du Salève animator offers an interactive workshop in which, over the course of an hour, children create a relief landscape map as a souvenir of their time on the summit of Mont Salève.
