Megève's cultural center at Le Palais presents an exhibition dedicated to Megevan artist and photographer Olivier Tops.
Olivier Tops celebrates 20 years of creation in Megeve with an exhibition of almost 150 works showcasing his different artistic universes and techniques: from photographs of Megeve to snapshots of travel, from “Nailshading” to “Textportait”, which revisits Pop Art in its own way, via photographs on painted canvas to “Smart Art”. A number of giant canvases punctuate this artistic stroll, which also features the artist's native village. In this artistic journey, the protean artist presents his latest technique entitled “3 for 1”, which enriches the work with an unexpected musical dimension.
The son and grandson of Mègevans photographers, Olivier Tops fell into the world of developing photography at an early age, and during the course of his career turned to travel photography. A witness to his time, he draws his inspiration from the artistic expressions of the 20th and 21st centuries.
