Under the Ancien Régime, Geneva was steeped in crime and repression. This unusual walk, in which you are the actor, takes you through Geneva's darkest hours.
Between fear of evil and treatises on demonology, the witch-hunt hit Geneva from the 15th to the dawn of the 18th century. Against a backdrop of plague, repression attempted to curb the phenomenon with torture and horrific sentences. The Reformation also took its toll, with capital punishment claiming many victims.
During this exceptional walk, you'll discover the emblematic sites of crime and repression in Geneva. You'll discover the site of the implacable red guillotine, the famous rue des bourreaux and the remains of the ports of Longemalle and Molard, where judicial drowning punished crimes against nature. And so many other tales to thrill you!
Accompanied by your guide, you'll be the actor in your own walk! At each stop, you'll have the chance to play an active part in uncovering the mysteries of the city. We won't tell you more!
