Students create a 3D diorama map of the Salève's natural environments, learn about natural environments, discover wildlife and understand how landscapes evolve.
This activity invites students to discover the natural environments of the Salève and surrounding area through the creation of a diorama map.
Pupils design a 3D representation in the form of a map to take back to school or home.
This time of production is an opportunity to discuss a number of concepts with them:
- Characteristics of different natural environments
- Local flora and fauna: which animals are specific to each environment?
- Understanding the evolution of landscapes: Students reflect on the natural and human factors that influence landscapes, and the importance of conservation.
This activity, which can be booked directly or as an alternative in case of rain, takes place indoors.
